Eating out / To Eat or Not to Eat!?

At the back of Ortigas Home Depot, we found this Hainanese Chicken and Steak place called Hai Chix & Steaks.  I was told by a friend that if you’re too lazy to go to Makati to go to Mamou to eat steak, this place would do.

Comes with fried steak rice.
Comes with 2 bowls of fried steak rice.
And sidings of corn.

The second time we tried their steak, it looked like this. Consistent.

Then we tried their fried hainan chicken. Nothing great. Tasted like Savoury.

Also ordered their bestseller, Hainanese Chicken. For us it tastes the same as others, but their chicken was soft.

Pinkerton
Pinkerton ice cream for dessert…a bit expensive for a scoop (around 120php or more).

Overall it was an okay experience.  Maybe we just had high expectations due to what we heard.  But we still prefer to travel to Mamou in Rockwell for some steak.   To each its own I guess 🙂
